Survival mode has a cost. And it compounds.
On the outside, you are high-functioning. Successful, even. But your nervous system is running a different programme.
- You go from calm to flooded in seconds
- You shut down mid conversation
- You replay messages and tone for hours
- You brace for something bad, even on good days
- You feel "too much", or you feel nothing
- You pull away from people you care about
- Shame hits fast and sticks
None of this is a character flaw. It is a nervous system doing exactly what it learned to do, protecting you the only way it knows how. The window of tolerance, the zone where you can think, feel, and respond rather than react, has narrowed. Life keeps happening outside it.
Consider what another year of this costs. The energy spent managing yourself before you can manage anything else. The relationships held at arm's length. The work done at half capacity while looking fully composed. The health effects of a body that never fully stands down. Staying stuck is not neutral. It has a price, and you are already paying it.
Why understanding alone has not been enough
You have probably done the work most people never do. Therapy, the books, the podcasts. You can name your attachment style and spot your triggers in real time.
And your body still reacts before you can think.
That is not a failure of effort or intelligence. Insight lives in the reflective parts of the brain. Survival responses are faster, older, and automatic. When your body is bracing, logic does not override it, because the threat response fires before reasoning gets a vote.
Awareness explains the pattern. It does not retrain it. Retraining happens through repetition, in a nervous system that has enough safety and capacity to learn something new. That is a different kind of work, and it is the work this programme is built for.
What CPTSD Rewired™ is
CPTSD Rewired™ is a self-paced, evidence-based Stage 1 psychoeducation programme for nervous system stabilisation, built on Judith Herman's internationally recognised three-stage model of complex trauma recovery.
Stage 1 is safety and stabilisation. Before traumatic material can be processed in deeper work, the nervous system needs enough regulation, capacity, and internal steadiness to support change. Most approaches skip this stage or rush it. CPTSD Rewired™ is built entirely around it.
The programme does not ask you to revisit traumatic memories. The goal is to help your brain and body learn, through structured education and daily repetition, that the danger has passed, so that regulation becomes something your system can do rather than something you have to force.
To be clear about what this is. CPTSD Rewired™ is structured psychoeducation and skills training. It is not therapy, and it does not provide diagnosis, individual clinical care, or crisis support. It builds the foundation that makes deeper work possible, whether that work happens later with a therapist or in Stage 2 with Dal after completion.
What is inside
26 structured video lessons
In-depth psychoeducation on the neuroscience of complex trauma, including threat detection, implicit memory, and why your nervous system responds the way it does. Clinical training delivered in clear, accessible language.
5 sequenced neuroplasticity audio practices
Designed for short, repeated daily use, 2 to 3 times a day. Each audio is introduced at a specific point in the programme and targets a specific regulation skill. Repetition is what builds new patterns, so the audios do the slow, structural work.
19 worksheets
Structured worksheets that guide you through identifying triggers, mapping your nervous system responses, building safety in relationships, and tracking regulation over time.
3 validated assessments, taken twice
The Kessler Psychological Distress Scale (K10), the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS-21), and the Brief Resilience Scale (BRS), completed at the start and end of the programme so change is measured with data, not guesswork.
Two personalised feedback reports
Dal personally reviews your start and end of programme assessment results and prepares a written feedback report at each point. This is included as a bonus for the current intake and may not be offered in future intakes.
Self-paced, with lifetime access
Roughly 12 weeks if you follow the recommended rhythm, entirely at your own pace if you do not. The content and audio practices are yours permanently, including future updates to the core materials. Technical support for platform access is included throughout.
The five-phase progression
Each phase builds on the last. You move in order, because regulation develops sequentially, not all at once.
Foundations and understanding
Why your nervous system reacts the way it does, and why complex trauma is different from single-incident trauma. Clarity and orientation first, before anything is asked to change.
What most people notice. Relief from finally making sense of their experience. Less shame. A clear framework for what comes next.
Stabilisation and regulation capacity
Recognising dysregulation as it happens and recovering more efficiently. Strengthening the capacity for calm rather than forcing calm.
What most people notice. Shorter recovery time after activation. More moments of steadiness. Improved clarity under stress.
Emotional tolerance and witnessing
Staying present with emotional experience without becoming overwhelmed, shutting down, or disconnecting. Emotions become information rather than threats.
What most people notice. A wider window of tolerance. Fewer emotional extremes. More confidence in handling internal experience.
Body-based regulation and relational safety
How trauma is held in the body, and how regulation supports safer connection with others. Restoring a felt sense of safety in your body and in relationships.
What most people notice. Reduced physical stress symptoms. Less tension and reactivity. Greater ease in connection and boundaries.
Integration and long-term regulation
Consolidating regulation skills so they become automatic and sustainable, including maintaining stability during challenge and recognising when additional support is needed.
What most people notice. Greater trust in themselves. More emotional consistency. The ability to handle stress without falling back into survival patterns.
Real results from nervous system regulation
These outcomes are from clients who worked with Dal privately, using the neuroplasticity audio practices and regulation methods now included in CPTSD Rewired™.
From severe distress to stable in one week
K10 score 32 (severe distress) → 2 after one week
After one week of daily practice with the Stop and Redirect audio, this client's Kessler Psychological Distress Scale score dropped from 32 to 2. They reported feeling calm for the first time in months and were able to return to work.
Method. Neuroplasticity audio practice, 2 to 3 times daily.
Breaking the rumination cycle
Hours of daily replaying reduced to minutes within two weeks
This client replayed messages and conversations for hours each day, unable to stop analysing every interaction. Within two weeks of using the neuroplasticity audios, they could catch the rumination pattern early and shift their focus. Loops that used to consume entire evenings now lasted minutes.
Method. Daily neuroplasticity audio practice targeting rumination patterns.
Consistent regulation across multiple clients
Severe range (28 to 35) to mild or minimal (2 to 8) within 1 to 4 weeks
Dal has repeatedly observed clients move from severe dysregulation on standardised assessments to mild or minimal distress within one to four weeks of consistent audio practice.
Common pattern. Daily audio repetition supporting new regulation pathways.
These results occurred through one-to-one clinical work. Individual results vary. CPTSD Rewired™ makes the same methods available in a structured, self-paced programme.
What tends to change when regulation builds
This programme does not promise a particular outcome, and it does not promise a cure. What it provides is the structure, the tools, and a measured process. When regulation improves, life does not become perfect. It becomes more workable, and the pattern tends to look like this.
- You catch activation earlier, while it is still workable
- Difficult moments stop costing you days
- The swing between numb and overwhelmed softens into range
- You pause and choose a response instead of defaulting to survival reactions
- Your body spends less time scanning and bracing
- Your assessment scores let you see progress rather than guess at it
Who this is for, and who it is not for
CPTSD Rewired™ is a Stage 1 programme. It is designed to build safety, stabilisation, and regulation. It is not for everyone, and it does not replace therapy. Please read this carefully before joining.
This programme is for you if
- You want to understand how your nervous system works and build regulation skills
- You are willing to practise short daily audio exercises, 2 to 3 times a day
- You want clear, evidence-based education about your responses
- You are an adult able to work through self-paced material independently
- You are seeking Stage 1 work focused on safety and stabilisation, not trauma processing
- You are open to completing structured assessments at the start and end
This programme is not for you if
- You are currently in acute crisis and need immediate support
- You are experiencing active psychosis
- You are seeking trauma processing, memory reprocessing, or Stage 2 or 3 work
- You expect personalised clinical guidance, diagnosis, or treatment
- You are looking for rapid change without consistent practice
If you are currently under psychiatric or mental health care, please have your clinician's support before joining. If you are in crisis, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis line. Numbers are listed at the foot of this page.
This is the programme I needed years ago.
For years, I understood my trauma intellectually. I could explain attachment styles and name my triggers, and none of that knowledge changed how my body reacted. It still braced in relationships, shut down in conflict, and swung between panic and numbness.
That gap between insight and change is where many people with complex trauma get stuck. I know it because I lived in it, moving from one therapist to the next while looking, from the outside, like everything was fine.
It is what led me to retrain in my 40s and build the programme I needed decades earlier. What shifted things for me was not more insight. It was understanding what was happening in my body and retraining the patterns driving those reactions, through repetition rather than willpower. The approaches inside CPTSD Rewired™ are the same ones I used to change my own patterns.

Frequently asked questions
Will this cure my CPTSD?
No. This programme does not promise a cure. It teaches regulation skills so your brain and body can settle faster, recover more effectively, and build steadiness over time. Some people also choose additional support alongside this work, such as clinical care, medication, or community. The goal is to build capacity so that other approaches, and life itself, have a better chance of working.
I have tried regulation techniques before and they did not work. Why would this be different?
Most techniques fail when they are taught as scattered tips rather than a structured practice built on repetition. "Just breathe" often fails when threat responses are running the show. This programme teaches why a tool works, when to use it, and how change is built through short, consistent daily practice, in a sequence designed to develop capacity in order.
Do I need a CPTSD diagnosis to join?
No diagnosis is required. If you grew up with chronic stress, relational trauma, or repeated unsafe experiences, and you now struggle with regulation, shutdown, hypervigilance, or relationship patterns, the programme offers a structured way to understand those patterns and practise skills.
How is this different from therapy?
This is psychoeducation plus skills training. It is structured learning that teaches the neuroscience of complex trauma and gives you tools to practise. Therapy is individual care involving tailored formulation and clinical treatment planning. This programme does not provide diagnosis, crisis support, or trauma memory processing.
What support is included, and what is not?
Tier 1 is fully self-paced. It includes technical support for platform access, and, as a bonus for the current intake, two personalised written feedback reports prepared by Dal from your start and end of programme assessments. It does not include one-to-one contact, email correspondence about your personal situation, or clinical guidance during the programme. One-to-one appointments with Dal become available once you have completed the programme.
How does the discount code work?
Register for the free masterclass and watch it to the end. You will then receive a code by email that reduces the programme price by 75% at checkout. The code is delivered automatically, and there is no obligation attached to watching.
What happens after I purchase?
You receive login details for the course platform by email, usually within a few minutes. You start with the first assessment point, then move through the lessons, audios, and worksheets in sequence, at your own pace, with lifetime access to the content and audios.
What if I cannot commit to the 12-week timeline?
The 12-week timeline is a recommendation, not a requirement. You can move slower, pause, and return whenever you need. The factor that drives progress is consistency with the practices while you are actively working through the material.
Can I do this programme if I am already in therapy?
Yes. Many people use structured skills training alongside therapy, and it can mean less session time spent settling and more spent on the work itself. If you are under psychiatric or mental health care, please have your clinician's support before joining.
What if I feel activated by the material?
The programme is designed to be as low-activation as possible, and you are never asked to revisit traumatic memories. If you feel activated, pause, use the regulation tools, and return when you are ready. You control the pace and your exposure throughout.
What is the refund policy?
Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy agreed at checkout. Refunds are not provided for change of mind, and nothing in the policy excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Another year in survival mode is the expensive option.
You already understand your trauma. The next step is not more insight. It is structured training that gives your nervous system the repetition, sequence, and safety it needs to learn something new.
