My path here
Why I became a Clinical Hypno-Psychotherapist
For decades I experienced traditional talk therapy. It gave me space to speak, but it did not create the deep change I needed. At times it required me to revisit painful memories without calming the underlying nervous system response.
In my 40s, I discovered integrative hypno-psychotherapy. For the first time, I felt safe, calm, and able to shift long-standing trauma patterns. That experience changed the direction of my life. I retrained so I could offer others a therapeutic approach that works not only with thoughts, but with the body and nervous system.
How I work
Trauma-focused, collaborative, measurable
I use trauma-focused approaches including:
- Clinical hypnotherapy
- Regression and parts work
- Enhanced CBT
- The Rewind Technique for trauma
- Inner child work
- Mindfulness-based emotional regulation
Every treatment plan is tailored. My clients are the experts on themselves. We work collaboratively towards clear, future-focused outcomes with measurable progress.
Why I do this work
Education changed everything for me
I lived with undiagnosed Complex PTSD for decades. Recovery is not theoretical to me.
Understanding how trauma affects the brain and nervous system allowed me to make sense of my history and move forward. The same knowledge and tools that supported my healing now inform my clinical work.
Clients often tell me they value my empathy, clarity, and the way I explain complex psychological processes in practical terms. They also appreciate that progress is measured, not assumed.
My commitment
One aim, whether through therapy or education
To support people living with Complex PTSD and trauma to feel safe, understood, and capable of reclaiming their lives.
